Laurinburg Exchange
This annual trip is the highlight of many pupils experience in high school. Pupils in S5 have to go through an interview process to get in. Oban is matched with Laurinburg in North Carolina, America and this trip has been running for nearly 30 years. For two weeks the American pupils come to Scotland and stay with their matched partner to experience a taste of Scottish culture in June and in October Scottish students go over to do the same.
