Our School Uniform
At Oban High School, our uniform reflects our pride, unity, and commitment to creating a safe, inclusive environment. It is designed to be smart, practical, and affordable, helping to reduce the pressure of purchasing branded items while fostering a strong sense of community.
Our uniform consists of:
Shirt and Tie: Standard plain white shirt with a school tie (S5 and S6 pupils should wear a senior tie).
Trousers: Black formal trousers (including black formal denim).
Skirts: Black knee-length skirt with or without black tights.
Shorts: Black formal shorts with or without tights.
Outerwear: A plain black v-neck jumper or cardigan.
Footwear: Plain black shoes.
Blazer (optional): School blazers can also be worn.
School ties are available to purchase from the school for £3.
Items Not Permitted
To maintain uniformity and a professional appearance, the following items should not be worn:
Coloured shoes or trainers.
Coloured jeans.
Hoodies.
Leggings or jogging bottoms.
Physical Education (PE)
Pupils should arrive at school in their uniform and change into their PE kit during PE lessons.
