Parent Support Project Launching January 2025
We are excited to announce that Exchange Families, in partnership with the Local Authority, will be offering a Parent Support Project to parents and carers in Argyll & Bute starting in January 2025.
This initiative aims to provide parents and carers with guidance, support, and practical strategies to address common challenges faced by children and young people.
How to Access Support
Parents and carers can self-refer to the programme by signing up via the Exchange website:
Families | Exchange Counselling.
By registering, parents will be able to:
Book a space on one of our therapist-led Parent Workshops.
Indicate if they would like 1:1 support upon registration.
Referrals are also accepted from education, health, or other agencies working with families.
Upcoming Workshops
The first workshops are now open for booking, with 8 sessions currently live on the calendar. Additional workshops covering a variety of topics will be added in the coming months. These workshops are designed to help parents and carers better support their children with issues commonly addressed by our sister service, Exchange Counselling.
