It is a privilege to welcome you to Oban High School, a vibrant, inclusive and ambitious learning community. Our values of Compassion, Ambition, Courage and Integrity guide everything we do and shape our commitment to ensuring every young person feels known, supported and inspired to achieve their best.

I am incredibly proud to have the opportunity to serve as Acting Headteacher of Oban High School. Oban and the school itself are very familiar to me, having previously taught here, and it is a real privilege to return and lead a school and community for which I have great affection.

I am looking forward to getting to know our young people and their families, working alongside our dedicated staff, and strengthening the many important partnerships we have across Oban and the wider community.

At Oban High School, we want every young person to experience success; in the classroom, through the wide range of opportunities available beyond it, and as they develop into confident, capable and caring individuals. Working together with families and our community, we will continue to build a school in which young people feel they belong, are encouraged to be ambitious and are supported to fulfil their potential.
